At the Sidewinder Ranch there is a 36 year experience in keeping and breeding various snakes. A large period of it was spend with venomous snakes. The majority were rattlesnakes. At this moment we are working with the following species; Crotalus cerastes, C. enyo, C. (Sistrurus) catenatus tergeminus, Bitis nasicornis and Boa constrictor,
We only work with captive bred animals, because our policy is to ban wildcaught animals. This site does not promote keeping venomous snakes at home, because of the risks involved. Accidents happen easely and the consequences are enormous. In case of a serious bite the cost of hospitalisation are high and it is not sure that your insurance will cover this.
